How can the same outfit look so different? It’s the same me…. same weight… what happened??
Have you ever noticed that your clothes change from day to day….. like, one day I put on an outfit and think ‘I look pretty good in this. I love the color and the pants fit great.’ and I go out the door feeling like a million bucks. Same outfit next time…. I weigh the same, but I look in the mirror and OH MY GOD. I look like crap… no way can I go out looking like a fat cow! :( I call it looking at myself with my fat goggles on. It happens all the time. It must have something to do with my self esteem… it changes with the weather I guess. Some Sundays I go to church so proud of the weight I’ve lost and then the next Sunday, darned if I feel like I can’t get into that choir robe fast enough…. quick so no one sees me for the fat girl I really am. Does this happen to anyone else???

I buy clothes at the store and think they look great there and then after a couple days when I go to wear them for the first time I am like what the heck was I thinking when I bought this. They fit totally different! I must have been out of my mind when I bought this or that. I can relate to you. This morning I tried on 4 different outfits to just get one right to were to work that I felt good in. Happens to me all the time…you are not alone.

AND I have noticed that we all wear the same color on the same day at work…what is that all about?
It’s totally a mood thing. When you;re feeling good about yourself you could put on a sack, and a belt, and think you look a million dollars!
I understand the mood thing, but to think it actually affects your vision…..??? lol

lol I love that…fat goggles! I too experience this and it drives me mad. I think it is a mood thing too though. Our moods must affect our vision!
I have those same fat goggles, today on my way out in my interview outfit that I love, and I looked horrendous.
We must all have this set of goggles! LOL and they must be automatic..engaging only when the icky mood strikes.
